Terms and Conditions

Before entering the competition, you must agree to the following terms and conditions.

  1. The promoter is:
    • Two Sides Ltd (Registered No. 07248864) whose registered office is at;

  2. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  3. Only one entry per person is permitted.
  4. Entrants, winners and accompanying partners, must be 18 years old, or over, hold a valid passport and be able to travel within the European community.
  5. Entrants must be residents of the United Kingdom.
  6. Entrants, winners and accompanying partners must be capable of making a visit to a European Paper and forestry industrial facility. The visit will entail unaided walking, climbing of stairs and require a degree of physical fitness. Entrants or winners unsure of their ability to take advantage of the experience must check with the promoter before entering the competition or accepting the prize.
  7. Winners and accompanying partners must have appropriate travel and medical insurance for a European visit. The hosting organisation will have appropriate insurances for winners and accompanying partners whilst visiting their manufacturing plants.
  8. Travel will commence and end at an airport in the United Kingdom. Airport transfers are not included.
  9. The prize is a visit to one of several organisations involved in the European forestry and paper industry. There will be 30 winners, who each will win a trip for themselves and a partner. Winners and their partners will be allocated to a host organisation which will be chosen wholly at the discretion of the promoter.
  10. Visits will be between 2-4 days and the itinerary will be decided wholly at the discretion of the promoter.
  11. The 30 winners will be selected from entrants who have;
    a.    Entered the competition
    b.    Answered correctly 3 multiple choice questions surrounding the environmental impacts of paper.
    c.    Registered their details and agreed to the competition rules.
  12. Where more than 30 entrants have correctly answered the 3 questions, winners will be chosen at random by an independent adjudicator appointed by the promoter.
  13. No cash alternative or other alternative prize is available for the winners.
  14. The prize includes cost of flights, accommodation, transfers, meals and non-alcoholic beverages to be supplied by the hosting organisation.
  15. The prize excludes;
    a.    Costs of travel to departure airport
    b.    Cost of return from arrival airport
    c.    Cost of parking
    d.    Mini bar, room service, or any other additional costs arising that is not directly provided by the hosting organisation.
  16. Winners are liable for any costs arising through damage, or removal of property, relating to any hotels used or property of the host organisation.
  17. Winners will join others in a group for the Fact-Finding Forest Trip. The people making up the visiting group will be decided wholly at the discretion of the promoter
  18. The dates for the Fact-Finding Forest Trip will be advised to the winners. There will be a number of dates between 1st May and 30th June 2016, provided by the hosting organisations, which will be offered to the winners on a “first confirmed” basis. If the winner is unable to join the visit on any of the available dates, for any reason, the prize will lapse and the winning entry will be declared null and void.
  19. Once accepted, the date cannot be changed. If the winner is unable to join the visit on the agreed date, for any reason, the prize will lapse and the winning entry will be declared null and void.
  20. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered.
  21. The prizes are not transferable.
  22. The promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  23. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  24. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  25. The winners will be notified by email and/or letter within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  26. The promoter will provide winners with the necessary information on how to redeem the prize.
  27. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  28. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  29. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
  30. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Furthermore, pictures and details of the winners and visit will be published on the Two Sides website. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  31. Employees of Two Sides Ltd, their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.

  33. Closing date for entry will be 12 noon, 31st January 2016 in the United Kingdom (GMT). After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
  34. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  35. Unsuccessful entrants will not receive notification.
  36. Entry into the competition will be deemed as accepting of these terms and conditions.
  37. The names of the winners and details of the winning entries will be sent to anyone who requests the same within 3 months of the closing date of the competition. Request should be sent, along with a stamp addressed envelope, to;
