HistoryBought as a going concern in 1987, called Durham West & Sons, the business has traded successfully for 30 years.
Through many transformations, the then village printing company of 1987, with only Heidelberg Platens, has invested and evolved into the current setup now called Opal. The platens still exist; alongside B2 Lithographic, Digital and Wide Format equipment. Further recent investment has seen the installation of LED-UV drying technology to the B2 lithographic machine.
Client ListOur clients are from many business sectors including Design and Marketing Agencies, Local and Regional Business - both small and corporate, Schools and Universities, The Arts and Charities.
Market FocusOpal focus on the short to medium run markets producing items of high impact and excellence. We produce brochures, marketing and advertising material, stationery, invitations.
