GI Solutions Group is a rapidly evolving marketing support services group, which has grown organically to embrace an increasing range of campaign and customer management needs. We offer everything from the creation of a customer database to the development of targeted communications through to bespoke packaging solutions. We can support all of your marketing needs.

History

GI Solutions Group started out as Graphic Inline 21 years ago providing high-run, innovative and cost effective direct mail printed products. In 2002, business growth led to an expansion into complimentary production capabilities and related business services supplying a 50% growth in business from 2005 to 2007.

To show the market how much we had changed we re-branded in September 2006 as GI Solutions Group. The Group encompasses:

In October 2008, Grove Industries Limited, a Midlands based investment company, acquired a controlling interest in GI Solutions Group which means it is now part of a £400m business with a strong track record in delivering operational growth and success.

Investment of £5.6m in high speed, high quality continuous digital print and intelligent enclosing machinery is fuelling an expansion in variable colour printing. This is leading our growth in direct mail, transactional and business critical mailings. Targeted communication is the key and GI Solutions Group are leading the way.

GI Direct re-branded as GI Solutions in early August 2013, in order to reflect their expanding business critical, transactional and multi-channel offering. Building on a successful foundation of high quality mailing solutions, the company has in recent years extended its service offering to provide automated and technical solutions for complex daily transactional requirements.

Transactional output at GI Solutions has increased 78% over the last 3 years and now accounts for 50% of the business. Investment in recent years has supported this with high speed colour digital, upgraded mono laser capabilities and investment in 3 sheet-fed Konica Minolta machines.

Planned Investment this year will encompass additional innovative transactional devices, upgrades to enclosing integrity and an extension of multi-channel capabilities for transactional clients.

For the next two years GI Solutions Group will continue to broaden its service provision to become the leading marketing solutions provider in the UK with an objective of achieving £40 million by 2015.

GI Solutions work with clients across all sectors including financial, charity and retail sectors. Our client list includes Tesco, BskyB, Tag/Williams Lea and RR Donnelley.



Market Focus

We market the following products: Direct Mail one piece mailers, conventional mailing packs, Transactional Mail, Daily Hybrid Mail and on demand digital product, Election collateral Postal voting statements and Ballot books, Unity Hybrid Mail ad-hoc document print mail consolidation service, multichannel marketing including SMS and Email, Data Cleansing Services data de-duping, data suppression and data processing services, Transpromotional Print Services, merging of targeted marketing messages within transactional documents, Document composition resources consultancy for document composition build and maintenance with pre and post processing support Database Management Services comprehensive data and database processing facilities including Closed Loop Marketing response handling.



Environmental Credentials

We have held ISO 14001 certification for Environmental Management Systems since 2001. ISO 14001 certification is an international standard that provides a framework so that we can control and improve environmental performance via an Environmental Management System. It has brought us many benefits including reduced energy consumption and increased amount of waste sent for recycling rather than landfill. We are also FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certified. These two organisations promote sustainable forest management through forest certification and provide chain of custody.
