Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA)

Overview

The core aim of the IPIA is to create business development opportunities for Members to help them become more profitable. The IPIA Membership is split into three categories; Print Manufacturers, Associates and Print Managers. All Members sign up to the IPIA's Code of Practice for business transactions. Rules specify that all Members must transact business in an ethical, honest manner, demonstrating and representing their products fairly and avoiding misleading practices. The Association has all the normal services you would expect, such as HR, legal and health & safety advice, but the main focus is on sales and marketing activity and generating leads for Members.

History

The Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA) was formed in 1990 as the British Business Forms Association, and was re-branded to the IPIA in 1997 to reflect the changing nature of the industry.
