As reported by Mark Haslan in OverNights.
Last month, industry professionals and organizations such as Eastman Kodak, the United States Post Office and the Print Council gathered at the University of Dayton Arena for Think Patented’s “Print Delivers” event
The event’s theme, “Print Delivers! Print is no longer simply ink on paper,” sought to make a case for the effectiveness of print as a marketing device as well as a sustainable resource, as it allows businesses to reach consumers in a way that stimulates all five senses.
Speakers at the event shared cased studies from their own businesses, relevant statistics and examples of ways that marketers are using print to create innovative campaigns.
“Marketers of late have been forced to cut costs and try other methods, such as email and other low cost alternatives to print. What these marketers have been discovering is; the results are clearly not as good without print in the marketing mix,” said Joanne Vinyard of The Print Council, according to the blog.
Small businesses looking to harness the marketing power of print should make sure that their materials contain an attention-grabbing headline and eye-popping visuals all tasks a with which professional printer or graphic designer can help.
